Educational
Autobiography
I graduated
from Stillwater High School in 1996. I
began attending Century Community College in the fall of 1996. I finished an Associates Degree and
transferred to Concordia University for the spring semester of 2000. I am planning to complete a bachelor’s
Degree in Early Childhood Education and obtain licensure in Birth through third
grade. I want to teach kindergarten
through third grade in a public school.
My ideal teaching position would be in a kindergarten classroom.
I have worked at Time For Me Early
Learning Center for six years. I began
working at Time For Me when I started high school. I worked at Time For Me as a teacher’s aide and I continued
taking child development courses to become teacher qualified in the day
care. I work with children from sixteen
months to five years old. I believe
that working at Time For Me influenced my decision to become a teacher. I love working with children and I want to
be someone who makes a difference in their lives.
The most significant person through
out my educational experience has been my mom.
She stressed the importance of a college education and gave me the
support and encouragement that I needed.
