NEW Biofeedback Joystick with integrated system and sensor technology

The Bio Feedback Joystick is designed to keep Man and Machine safe and secure.

Employers need to protect their most valuable business asset -- their employees.  The most effective safety and health strategy available for employers is prevention.  The Bio Feedback Joystick System is an “accident prevention” or “portable monitoring system”.

The biofeedback joystick delivers safer systems control for mobile machinery and operators .  The joystick becomes the interface to monitor and manage the propel, control and work functions between equipment and the operator.  The biofeedback information is transmitted to a Sauer Danfoss microcomputer and Plus1+ software.   An operator gripping the joystick automatically takes pulse, temperature and heart rate in real-time with built in micro sensors to deliver more system control and possibly save a life of an operator and extend the life of equipment.

The joystick's built in sensors monitor fitness, stress, and fatigue of operators during equipment operation.  The joystick is the operator “user interface” to a Sauer Danfoss micro and biofeedback software utility.  A PLUS+1 "safety" application and microcontroller configures joystick sensor voltage inputs from an operator’s standard vitals and uses software drivers and interface files to determine appropriate outputs to pumps, motors, solenoids, lights, displays or disk storage or wireless LAN/WAN interface.

A classic problem is operators who shouldn’t be running equipment or machines based on unsafe vital signs that can not be detected with current management observations or technologies. You can better manage operator fatigue or operators who continually operate on the edge.  Operators and owners of machines using this Biofeedback Joystick with integrated system and sensor technology will maximize operator safety, comfort, performance and productivity.

Better machine management systems in harvesters are being required.  Road Roller System Configuration, flexibility in conjunction with high system integration capability is being expected from hydraulic suppliers.  Backhoes are more and more moving from HDC’s to EDC’s and are prime candidates for this technology.

A prime market to install bio feedback sensor systems is aerial lift equipment where traditional communication with the operator(s) is minute to none.  Frightening working platform heights range up to 135 feet with articulated jibs and options including four-wheel drive, rough terrain packages and multi-power capabilities, for Construction (commercial buildings and infrastructure).  It is awkward, even with your Nextel, today to communicate with operators in a building or on a construction site to authenticate if they are OK or if your equipment is OK.  Any machine that goes up higher than you care to fall has an added awareness of risk to operator and equipment.

A 135 foot Arial boom where communication with the operator(s) is minute to none can be more dangerous to operate than flying a jet airplane.  Mechanical, electrical, utility and painting contractors; and Petroleum and chemical refineries will all welcome the safety and security applications providing on-line real-time biofeedback information.

Features:

·         Accident prevention device checks operator vitals daily reliably and affordably.

·         The joystick without conscious human intervention routinely regulates displays, pumps, valves, motors based on past operator data compared to real-time operator data.

·         Gives an account of vital operator data incase of severe injury or death much like a “black box” from an airplane accident.

·         Engineers and management can use biofeedback data to determine productivity gains and utilize information for diagnostic studies for safety engineers.

·         Biofeedback sensors tie in with Integrated Speed Control

·         Data transmission of operator vital signs to safety team, 911, nurse call, diagnostic service, biomedical instrumentation equipment incase of an emergency.

Benefits:

·         Provides a reliable and safer place of work at an affordable price

·         Provides a security solution using biometric technologies to ensure you are who you say you are

·         Joystick sensor data increases operator comfort and equipment owner comfort

·         Protects machinery and equipment from accidents due to operator health.

·         Provides longer service life to the machine and operator

·         Provides Data logging that tie in with warranty monitoring.

·         Improves Management’s and HR’s job with personal liability of operator(s)

·         Emergency teams could be at their best during the worst with real-time biofeedback

·         Real-time and automatic data collection of vehicle or mobile equipment operator “vital signs” at your fingertips or in the palm of your hand

·         Provide a competitive edge for any customer trying to get contracts from secure access sites such as D.O.D and D.H.S and T.S.A

·         Safeguard and protect equipment during operation and reduce customer liabilities.

·         Provides D.O.T. Certificate information that embodies vitals completely and correctly and compares to vitals on file in Medical Examiners office.
